The tiger nut has become an indispensable part of contemporary carp fishing. The benefits of this bait are numerous. It has a recognizable sweet taste that carp love. Their hardness makes them widely applicable and also gives them the creaking 'crunch' effect. Tiger nuts have a good effect both immediately and in the long term. Tiger nuts can be combined well with other baits such as boilies, pellets and other particles.

Some suppliers sieve the tiger nuts into multiple sizes, we deliberately do not do this. KCB tiger nuts are a nice mix between 7mm and 15mm. This makes them versatile and contains sufficiently large nuts that can be used as hook bait. Our tiger nuts are grown in Africa and we import them fresh directly from the farmer. They are then carefully cleaned here in the Netherlands to guarantee the best possible quality.

Tigernuts are packed in user-friendly 5kg bags with a handle and 20kg bulk bags for bulk consumers. We offer an interesting volume discount when purchasing a full pallet!

Preparation: For optimal preparation, soak tiger nuts in plenty of water for 24 hours. Then boil the tiger nuts for about 45 minutes, until they are nice and evenly swollen and no longer have wrinkles. For best results, shake the tiger nuts with the cooking liquid in a large bucket and let them soak further. Tip: leave the tiger nuts until the cooking liquid has turned into a thick slime layer, then the tiger nuts are extra sweet and have optimal attraction.
