Preparation: For optimal preparation, soak wheat in plenty of water for at least 12 hours. Then you cook it for about 15 to 30 minutes. Tip: If you let the wheat soak further in the cooking liquid, it will become a bit stickier and mushy, so that you can knead it into food balls.
